The RAPID 8000 metal separator is used to inspect bulk materials in free-fall conveyor tubes from a nominal width of 200 mm. It detects all magnetic and non-magnetic metal contaminants (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, …) – even if such contaminants are embedded in the product. The metal contaminants are rejected by a rotating hopper. The waste outlet is dust-tight during normal operation. The RAPID 8000 metal separator is primarily used in the food industry in production areas with high hygiene requirements.
