The ELS single-layer single-surface flaw detector is used to inspect individually packaged products and bulk materials on a conveyor belt or in a chute, preferably with a low material height. It detects all magnetic and non-magnetic metal contaminants (steel, stainless steel, aluminum) – even if they are inside the product. When metal is detected, an alarm device and separation system can be activated or a signal sent to control the process.
