Application: all AUTOTHERM universal and steam smoking units The heat from the exhaust air is used for drying and saves energy. The P F E (Prepare – Fresh – Exhaust) system was developed to optimize energy consumption with AUTOTHERM universal and steam smoking units. Most of the energy is used to dry the product! The energy contained in the exhaust air is utilized by a heat exchanger to heat the fresh air at the chamber inlet. The preheated air saves energy and speeds up the drying process. The AUTOTHERM P F E system reduces energy consumption during the drying process by up to 20%. The P-F-E system can be used in almost all AUTOTHERM universal and steam smoking units.
